Fruit from this vineyard in McLaren Vale and demonstrates our regions ability to produce a variation of varieties. Closer to the Blewitt Springs part of McLaren Vale the soil is very much sandy profile which contributes to those white pepper spice characters.
All variety components are fermented separately and transferred to barrel. After 14 months in barrel the blend was assembled prior to bottling.

Deep red crimson.
An intense bouquet of juicy cherry and blackcurrant fruit are complimented by hints of mint and black olive overtones.
The palate delivers juicy fruit with a cedar oak backdrop, dusty, earthiness and chewy tannins supported by lively acid.
Medium term cellaring will reward.
